Dickinson’s Office Of Marketing & Communications Earns Top Honors In Prestigious Awards 

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½APP’s Office of Marketing & Communications has been recognized with four Best of CASE District II Awards, celebrating excellence in communications, marketing and design across higher-education institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) honors work that demonstrates creativity, innovation and impact. 

The winning entries include: 

  • Red Devil Guide (Design/Publications): A self-mailer designed around Dickinson’s Red Devil mascot, reinforcing belonging and community for admitted students. The piece combines practical enrollment information with interactive elements like a sticker insert to foster excitement and connection. Created by Lauren Davidson, Amanda DeLorenzo and Alex Sonfield ’25. 

  • Dickinson Magazine 2024 (Magazines/Alumni/General Interest): A series of issues that engaged alumni and donors through stories of institutional progress, alumni profiles and features on timely topics such as artificial intelligence and historical reflections. Led by Lauren Davidson (editor) and Amanda DeLorenzo (design), with contributions from Tony Moore, MaryAlice Bitts-Jackson, Matt Getty, Dan Loh, Joe O’Neill, Stephen Munchel and Alex Sonfield ’25. 

  • Under Construction: Big Changes Coming to the HUB (Video/Student Audience): A dynamic short video announcing major renovations to the student union building, crafted to resonate with students while informing the broader college community. Produced by Joe O’Neill, Stephen Munchel, Dan Loh and Isaiah Bell. 

  • $20 Carlisle Challenge (Video/Marketing Initiatives): A multi-channel campaign highlighting Dickinson’s close ties to downtown Carlisle through a creative challenge that showcases local businesses and student experiences. Produced by Joe O’Neill, Stephen Munchel, Tyler Caruso and Charlisse Suarez ’25. 

“These awards reflect the creativity and dedication of our team,” said Connie McNamara, vice president for marketing and communications. “Their work not only elevates Dickinson’s brand but also strengthens connections with students, alumni and the broader community.”
