Central staircase and new restrooms are open, but finishing work continues

Exciting progress was made throughout the summer at the Holland Union Building (HUB)! The central staircase is now open, making it easier to navigate between floors. The former restrooms have been removed, creating a more open floor-plan on the upper level, and the new restrooms along the College Street hallway are up and running. 

While this marks a major milestone, finishing work will continue throughout the fall semester as crews complete the renovation. Please be mindful of ongoing construction and follow posted signs for safe passage.

In addition, the east and center social halls are available to reserve through CASE, but they remain under renovation and will be completed throughout the semester. The west social hall is offline until the new addition is completed in spring 2026.

Note that ramp access to the HUB is available at the College Street entrance, and the elevator is located next to Mathers Theatre for access to the lower level.
