ITS will be upgrading and replacing a network server on Sunday, August 3rd from 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM. This will impact numerous systems during the upgrade. The P drive, Totora and campus printing will be the primary impact.

Please join the College Farm for its last Summer Music Series concert on Friday August 22nd! Enjoy live music from The Great Long Meadow Fire, a six-piece brass band from Brooklyn. Ticket includes a personal wood-fired pizza, two farm-fresh sides, and the concert. Food and entertainment is picnic-style - bring your own chairs and BYOB! The event is 6-9pm on the farm, rain or shine. Tickets must be purchased by 8/21 at 12pm or before they sell out.

天美传媒APP Children's Center has an opening in the Kindergarten classroom for a child who will be 5yrs old by November 1st, 2025, for classes starting on August 18th. The Center also has various other age group openings. Be sure to contact the center directly at 717-245-1088 to learn more. If interested, families can complete a waiting list application on the enrollment page of the website and send directly to Cheri Truman, trumanc@dickinson.edu.

Meritain Health will soon issue updated member ID cards to all medical and prescription plan participants. This update is due to an administrative change involving a code on the back of the card used for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) in claims processing.

What You Need to Know:
鈥� There are no changes to your medical or prescription coverage.
鈥� Only the EDI code on the back of the card has been updated.
鈥� Please begin using this new card upon receipt and securely discard or shred your old card to protect your personal information.

If you have any questions, please contact Member Services using the phone number listed on your new card.

In preparation for the fall semester, R&D would like to let you know about the upcoming proposal deadline of August 8, 2025 for the following award categories:
鈥� Scholarly or Creative Projects for Fall 2025 and Academic Year 2025-2026
鈥� Dana Research Assistantships for Fall 2025 and Academic Year 2025-2026
All proposals must be received by Friday, August 8th. There is an online application system for the submission of all proposal information on the R&D website. Reminder: R&D cannot consider proposals from those who owe reports on past awards.
R&D Awards for Publications, Professional Development, and Travel to Present are awarded on a rolling basis.

Dues to changes in the Library, the MCI Open Demos scheduled in Library Classroom 1 have been moved to Library Classroom 2 from noon-1PM on the following dates:

It is that time of year and we are we are looking for volunteers to assist our new students and their families as they move into their residence halls. This is a special tradition to welcome our newest students, and we need your help. Please consider spending a couple hours greeting and helping get belongings into the halls.
